The Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency, Hon. Adam Salifu Braimah affectionately called Uncle Sally, who doubles as the Savannah Regional Minister, has donated sugar to Muslim community for the Ramadan Fasting.
Ramadan is the month Muslim across the globe embark on a thirty or twenty nine spiritual cleansing through fasting. Ramadan Fasting, is one the five pillars of Islam
and a month in which the Holy Quran was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
During the presentation, the MP urged the Muslim community, to use this sacred month of Ramadan to pray for Allah’s intervention in the fight against the global pandemic covid-19.
He further entreated them to be extra patient with the social distancing protocols and other measures put in place to curb the spread of the deadly corona-virus.
On his part, the Constituency Chairman of the NPP, Alhaji Amuda Ussif Alabi, thanked the MP for the donation and his unflinching support to the Muslim community in the Constituency. He further assures the MP, that the donation would be fairly distributed to the target beneficiaries.
